Or you could head down to the local, buy a pot and watch it on Foxtel?

Or go to the game this weekend? And for other games, you could come by my place...

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I am just curious, you don't think the AFL are entitled to enforce their copyright? Understand this is really inconvenient for many supporters
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

The IPL have embraced YouTube and this is to their own benefit. The AFL have no clue and their POS website is testament to this. What do they have to lose by getting the word out there? Get with the program, AFL!

              For sure Reggi.
The thing that irks me the most, is that the game on TV as in last saturday, I could've gone to if I wanted to or sat at home and watched it on FTA.
Where as the game that is the most difficult to get to, is on Fox, giving people without Fox, or the option of going to a fox venue, little opportunity to watch the game.
If teams were given a more equal billing in the games shown on FTA, it would be less of an issue.

With the money the stations are pouring into the rights the "bums on seat" issue has been thrown out the window.

So I reckon my $50, + the occasional visit to justin, is a good investment.

Wow, my RSL only charged $5 for membership. Do they get you to sponser a Digger for that amount?

                  Was thinking the same thing.

The biggest clubs in Sydney charge $5-$20 max. And we are talking clubs like Mounties and Panthers etc which are mini cities !!!

Gee why don't you rub it in fellas!!! Poor buggers. Just think how we would be if we couldn't watch! Ropeable. The problem is that the Swans have a big Melbourne base, and the AFL et al don't recognise this.

And some of us cannot get Fox because their stupid Body Corporate didn't get their act together years ago and now the cost of fishboning the whole complex is simply astronomical but even if we get things close to a decision a collection of some of the more assinine idiots are vetoing decisions because they seem to think the numerous satelite dishes we would have to use (no choice in this suburb) are the size of the dish at Parkes and the roof will collapse ........ and then again, some of us are a little financially stretched, etcc etc etc.

And Gawdelpu if you get to the local RSL up here and an NRL game is on!!!! Spleen vented, Primmy is living the building.

WE have fellow Swans supporters living nearby who are always happy to let us watch at their place, even if they're not home. Thanks Jodi!

I was actually gonna do that on sat night for the Richmond game.
Then I found out that I was to be taking kids to parties and picking them up etc so I found the (short lived) stream....

I reckon my wife will be Ok with me going to the pub 15 out of 22 weeks to 'watch the footy'
