White knight turns tide for Swans

A fair if somewhat sobering assessment of our game yesterday and chances this year.

    Apols if already posted.
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!

good article, though I take issue with:

"Bradshaw's hard work in tight traffic - not something for which the occasionally petulant Hall was always renowned - was just as important as his late goals."

Barry was unselfish and very hard working at ground level for the team.

Swans once again being short-changed by a journalist. Haaners just "used the ball well"? "Had a freakin' blinder" more like it. And as for Jesse turning the game around - give me a break!

Hmmm, no mention of North's best on ground.....umpire 17. As well as the fact that, apart from the umpires, North could only score 3 goals!!!!!

Also no mention of the amazing Mumford and the game he played. Oh well, in reality, who cares, he's only a journalist, not someone who actually knows anything.

You wonder sometimes whether or not they actually watch the game, or whether its between pints at the bar, or half time reports over the back fence at a barbeque. Truly twit like.

I don't normally take issue with these sort of articles but i seriously do not think that the person who wrote this (richard hinds i think??) actually watched the game - the analysis of the players and the game was almost completely incorrect!!
