Haven't we missed the point - Voss is a ranga, therefore an idiot

I think Brisbane treated him very badly. My nephew is a huge Lions fan and he told me that a lot of the fans up there were very upset about losing Bradshaw and gaining a tool like Fevola.

Mind the Brissie fans don't see it that way - plenty reckon he was a sook about it all.

Steady on. We have a ranga of our own now, so I am feeling the love for the red. (Though am advocating "The Tang" for Gary Rohan's nickname - as in Orangatan(g), and that bright orange drink from the 80s, and also the taste of blood in your mouth after he's laid a big tackle on you... Looking forward to our opposition getting a taste of The Tang.) Besides, Voss is a "ginga" - first g pronounced as in "get" - which is at the bottom end of the scale.

Why aren't they beating up the Amon Buchanan vs Jude Bolton Jon Pumper battle of the t-shirt?
The Roos/Voss Fitzroy battle of the coaches with surnames of four letters?
The relocated club vs relocated club war of attrition?
It's just a pathetic attempt to beat up what we all (Brisbane and Sydney fans alike) find amusing: this is our pathetic whimper of a manufactured rivalry!

Anyway - bring on GWS so we can have a serious cross town derby!

Of course - the Jon Pumper Derby it is.

Played for a garish 80's t-shirt. Bring. it. on.

I actually dont mind Brisbane - both its supporters and the way it goes about its footy and business. Plus the Gabba is a great ground. It is such a fake manufactured rivalry. We should be playing the Saints this round.

It's not completely fake, there were stirrings of a rivalry back in 2003, 2004, when Brisbane was a powerhouse but the Swans usually had the wood over them, except when it came to finals. A lot of mutual respect came from that period, and a rivalry doesn't have to be based on negatives.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Um, no. In the 70's and 80's there was quite a rivalry between the clubs that were at either end of Albert Park Lake.
