He has the respect of the players.

His calm demeanour. Coming off a few years of rocket blowing up every 3/4 time it was quite refreshing.

    Disappointed he's moving on.

    And his house.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Actually yes, I agree, whistling while shifting names around the board while we were umpteen goals down. He is a laugh.

POINT: If R&W are contemplating a wee gifty, how about an engraved whistle?
If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood

Gift for someone who is selling their house for 5 million? Big pat on the back and a cheesy thanks.

Roos is a gentleman of the code, came out and did a training session with my kids before he took over from Eade and even at that early stage Tammy was involved with the local club.

They are both great ambassadors for the Swans and the game of AFL.

            Cheers

I love everything about Roosy! The funniest thing was when he went off at the players round 1 this year. It was the most emotion I had ever seen him show. I am going to miss him big time when he retires. He is a STAR!!!!

I like the way he has football in perspective in his life.He is rational and not a fanatic. He has total control of his emotions and is transparent in what he says but also what he doesn't say. Above all,I love him coaching from the boundary. did he get this idea from coaching his son's games Saturday morning?

We all go back there for drinks after the game. It's a perk of joining RWO. You should come along. We have a kick in the street then we're all in the pool or doing some tantric post-game relaxing.

Hip hopping up to the coaches box in the QF VS PA 2003! (forget the lift).
His "look" - thigh pads, glove and mullet. What a spunk.
His integrity as coach - he had a vision and a method and he consistently applies it.

I'm psychic and serial stalking is just soooo yesterday. I was a pot plant on his front verandah for sometime. I make a lovely plant. Has anyone else noticed the enchanting full moon tonight?

I also read the Sunday Telegraph and last Sunday on page 66 they had a write up about it. I think the Sun Herald also had a story. It's all there in it's naked glory to see. Picture of back of house and comments about him possibly moving to US. Obviously writer of story doesn't know he's going to Carlton.

So AnneW get the chequebook out and on May 18 head down to Randwick to make a bid. Agent reports that expectations of around $5.5 million are expected.

Seriously, you wouldn't think he would be selling it if he was staying in Sydney after this season. Good luck to him, he earned it and we should all wish him the best wherever he goes.

There have been comments in the past that he was greatly indebted to the sacrifices of the good missus to let him chase his AFL dreams. It is her turn to excel. Paraphrasing again, there have been references to footy being great but not the only thing of value to him.

I'd say a stint in the US is on the cards with an open book on where the next five years may lead. A man of his wisdom could do anything he wants. With 5.5-plus in the kick, the world is his oyster.

You never know, he may just save the planet.
