He was on my plane on the way back to Melbourne Town, on Sat.
Gave him the evil eye. I was wearing my Swans Shirt after all.

            I just love him.
I'm gunna miss him when he goes.
The next best thing he's done for this club is leave us in incredibly safe hands.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Yeah that GF victory speech.....priceless! It was like he built up to it, the image on the GF DVD after the siren went whilst the players are going banana's he is just calmly walking out onto the ground with a grin and shook hands with demetriou (which would of been very satisfying considering his comments). It's unbelievable how he can keep his emotions in check, he apparently made a joke in the press conference after that 06 GF nightmare loss. I wasnt surprised he went off in round 1 though, it's clear he wants to go out on a high and so far so good. On ya roosy!

Please fasten your seatbelts, big-if approaching -

IF we knock off the Yabletts, Roosy'd go from third or tied for second, to tied for first or better, Coach of the Decade-wise.

The best thing about Roosy is the people he attracts and motivates - other leaders of men like Stuey Maxfield and Kirky have created what I think is something special under Roosy's coaching. Acknowledging my obvious bias, I get the feeling that there is something of an enduring legacy that the Roos era will leave, ie the Bloods culture.

My fave thing about Coach Roos is that, as far as I know, he's one of the two people who use the sensible and utilitarian "oriented" instead of the long-winded and ostentatious "orientated".

Thing I love about Roos is his facial expressions pretty much sum up how he feels during a game. His reaction to Bolton's freaky bounce of a goal was priceless.

i love that he has outlasted the richmond-fan-wannabees that plagued this site for a few years after 2005 with their carping and self-importance. after this season and in shorter than nine years he have rebuilt the club, won at least one premiership, left on his own terms and with the club in better shape than it was ever before him.

then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Agree wholeheartedly with the above post. Won us a premiership and oversaw the retirement and moving on of 2/3rds of the premiership team to take us to a point where all us fans have genuine excitement for the future. Compare our future potential at the moment with Brisbane (03), Port Adelaide (04) and West Coast (06). Lots of credit to be shared (Stewie Maxfield in particular) but Roos has been the man and credit where credit is due. Thank you Roos.
