On those stats Johnston is very close to selection. Up until now he has been a forward and has played very little football, then he plays back and gets 30 possessions at CHB. Could it be that they played him back to get some serious match fitness into him to prepare him for the 1's?Comment

Forgot to mention his "serious footballer haircut".
Didn't think Barlow was too bad. He managed to get a fair bit of the ball and kicked a great goal from tight angle IIRC.
Vesz looks great.Comment

Was just about to make similar comment after prompt from BBB's stats. MOD looked like he'd visited the barber too.
Also noted that Heath is surprising cut in the legs and arms for someone so young, relatively slim and who would have spent much of last year on his backside. I can see him building up into a nice strong lad - probably McPhee like size.Comment

With his new haircut I found it difficult to tell Heath and Reid apart when they were at the Randwick end, hence numbers not on display. I was dictating the stats to my nephew and on more than a couple of occasions I had to tell him 'Sry, that last handball was 20, not 35' etc.
I seriously think whoever did the bests lists may have had trouble as well because I fail to see how Reid could make that list. I suspect Reid was credited with a few of Heath's kicks and good clearances.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

Campbo, MOD and Rhyce all went for a head shave.
Reid's a little taller and little slimmer. Heath is a left footer, and a beautiful kick too!Comment
