Did some good things, but difficult to tell with him, because is never the conspicuous type.

That's why I mentioned him, he was very conspicuous today, Showed the older brigade how to do it.

Was Moore actually on the field much? I saw him sitting on the bench at one time but don't remember seeing him on the field. His stats of 8 disposals and no tackles are worse than Ed's. For what it's worth and its probably not much, Goodseys stats were only just marginally better than Jetta's which is a bit surprising.

I think we all agree Jetta needs a rest at some stage this season. We'll probably keep him in for the bigger Manuka but I reckon at the SCG against Freo he should be given the week off. Going back and kicking a few in the reserves will help his confidence.

Goodes was somewhere alse today...Richards proved once again that he has guts but no football smarts & very modest ability...I say again that the value of Jetta is largely cancelled out by his poor disposal...but he wasn't alone today...I could not possibly count the number of direct kicks to the opposition by blokes who can kick...& more of the same from serial poor disposers like Shaw & Bolton. Perhaps that has got our bad game out of the way...sure hope so.

Anyone suggesting Mummy had a shocker may have been swayed by the commentary team, he wasn't a superstar but he was fine and I did not understand the commentary team's desire to continually give points to Blake over Mummy.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

His dispoal is okay, when he is free...under pressure its very average, thats why he needs time to adjust; that said, a rest on the SCG will be good for him.

Was break even. Look at Blakes stats, the commentary team, as always, very biassed.

It has been ordinary the last two weeks. Did you watch the first 5 games of the season? Other than it front of goal, his disposal accuracy and penetration was probably matched only by Malceski.

That's an easy one. The Commentary team has ex Cats players and ex cats players that now manage current cats superstars. Still can't believe they allow Pickering to call these games. It's ridiculous. It's as bad as Eddie calling a Pies game.

He had 8 more hitouts and I'd say he rucked at least 10 more minutes than Mumford- I think it was break even overall in the ruck contest and Mumford offered a lot more outside the ruck.

TBH I thought Blake was clearly better in the ruck contest, especially early.

Mummy made up for it around the ground and may have just taken the points. I cannot understand how an earlier poster thought he had a shocker.

Do we have stats on the kickng efficiency of Jetta for the season?

Went to the game and had these observations.

First half was OK until Goodes tried to finess, AGAIN and got HTB. Straight up the ground for a goal. Jetta does a horrible short kick to a Geelong player, turn over, goal. We could have been at least even at half time.
Freo and Carlton beat Geelong by moving the ball on quickly and putting pressure deep into Geelong's defensive zone. We were static, went short with the wind, went sideways and wide and there is no space on the Geelong wings, tried to finess and take the player on instead of booting it, hand balled no where and were nothing short of woeful with our foot skills.
We played into their hands by going short.
Poor forward line pressure allowed Geelong to take it away with ease.
They had at least one man loose across half back that we insisted on kicking to.
                                Snooze time at centre bounces.
Geelong always had a player sitting off the pack, running wide or past that gave them the easy possessions.
Lost time of the number of times Geelong cut off telegraphed hand passess mainly because we were so slow to dispose of the footy.
Hammered at the ground contests. It was just too simple for them to win the hardball gets, break clear and run in twos and threes leaving us in their wake.
Backline worked hard although they were one man down and I don't mean LRT out.
Barlow should have his papers stamped as should Richards.
                                Our forwards played behind.
Forgot we had a full forward who kicks goals.
Is there something wrong with having a shot from 50 with the wind?
We went wide as Geelong clogged up the centre corridor between the 50 metre arcs and disappointingly we refused to go direct and take them on.
Bolton and ROK played like they weren't right.
Hard and bruising game against Brisbane probably had something to do with it.
We had 2 players not right and 3 players out from last week. I believe Moore went into the game with an ankle also so was next to useless.
