    Would be an improvement, then.

Agree with this lot of outs.

I notice Roos talk up LRT's contribution this year so if he is fit he comes in for Ted.
Barlow is definitely out for McGlynn or Hanners and the other out if both of those are fit should be Moore.

Lets not forget we are playing the super quick Doggies so Jetta must stay and Rohan deserves another game, his pressure, pace and tackling will be a asset. Moore could be exposed against the quick Doggies.

It seems from the Ressies reports that after this weeks game, no one else is demanding to be picked. Good to see Heath cotinuing to shine.

Oh and you got to see today what a team minus LRT looks like as well.

Not as much fun watching Mattner and Richards playing as key defenders is it?

I wholeheartedly agree with your comments. Sorry folks but some people on here just don't understand the game if they think Smith wasn't very good today or that LRT is not a very good key back.

LRT will come back into the side. Henry is a possibility though. Good call!

[QUOTE=Bas;484465]It is only a colour. He could play in pink pokedot boots for all I care. Since when do you have to earn the right to wear boots of a colour which is not black?

A few of the older commentators and critics in Melbourne think that a player has to earn the right to wear the hyper coloured boots and are saying that that is all Jetta has a claim to fame for at this stage. That's where the talk is coming from.

                Wrong.

Of the 4 running HBF, Mattner is easily the best defender, so much so that if someone is running rampant in the midfield Marty is moved to tag them out of the game.

Bevan's doing quite well where he is.

Have to disagree Bloody. I am admirer of Marty, but he was on Chapman who carved him up completely and in my opinion was BOG. That type of forward needs to be locked down. This was Martys problem in Adelaide when he was moved to a defensive role out of the back pocket or hbf. His position is the wing where he has to be lsss accountable and can provide tremendous drive with his long kicking.

He aint no world beater, but as a back up third tall defender that can lend a chop out to the two key defenders he is more than capable.

Facts are you can't have 22 senior players and then a bunch of 18 year old developing players on a list, it doesn't work. Therefore players like Ted are usefull fill-in's when needed to do a job and should be retained.

Vesz didn't do much in the ressies on Sat, but maybe he only looked so=so because the whole team was down...

This talk of Playfair is novel. I've always thought of him as loping and awkward and not up for a contested ball (in the Barlow mould). I'm not a ressies watcher so maybe he's changed tack.

I love Ted's courage in playing the space in front of the forwards but he's wasted as a loose man and not good enough right now to defend a key forward. Time for some class.

It would not surprise me if he was playing hurt & on pain killers. He took a knock against the Brions didn't he?

There was a throw away comment at the end of a Fox Sports news item last night which said that Roos wants Rohan to play this weekend against the Dogs.
