Mummy, Jude and Jared but good from a few others in trying conditions.
LRT stood tall when it counted and Goodsy nailed a couple to get his mojo back.
Rohan kept at it all day and was a real contributor.

Needed that win to keep realistic finals chance alive. Now to Port Adelaide where they need to screen off 50% of the stand to hide the fact that they don't have supporters who go to the footy.

Mummy what a pickup. A bit of consternation about the money we threw at him but he's shown he's worth every bloody cent. Second efforts tackles taps what a great all round performance. Only down point was that he tried to mark, and almost had it too, the kick that led to Leroy Jetta's goal in the last

it was also great to see Bird back he had a lot of quality touches around the packs that may not have been apparent on TV.

Finally we win the centre clearances. Due to some sensational work by Mumford. Pity he got rubbed out because he would surely have racked up votes in the first half of the season.

Let me be the first to say that Craig Bird makes a big difference to our midfield. He had a couple of errant handpasses and I don't know his stats but his close in work really added value to the team.

Sitting in sch car park for the first time. Have always wondered why people would park here due to the he'll of getting out (thank god for iPhones) and I still don't know. Anyhoo, great win, coulda been a loss, so will take it. Goodes is so off the boil not funny and mummy is a treasure. Who else wanted to kill malceski after handing them crucial goals. Crikey. And little 42 did ok and possibly not one free agin him. Good for u bevo. Go swans
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

I just hope the effort of the past two weeks is what they are going to bring to every game from here on in. We really need to put the power away next week, and if we bring the intensity, we bloody well should!

Phew. Great game, but the Bombers' lack of rotations told on them at the end. We murdered them in the midfield and should have been four goals up at three-quarter time.

Mumford and Bolton were sensational, LRT took a couple of great marks at the end. Jarrod definitely the pick of the McVeighs, Leroy Jetta won the points in his family.

Goodes had a shocker in the first half. Good to see him work his way into the game - great team goal in the last minute.

White played a pretty crucial role today. Rohan also made things happen up forward.

Our forward pressure on the Bombers' kick-ins was pretty poor though, and Melcho and Shaw made a few costly errors.

Rohan's first win in five games!

                        Nice to get a win.

The great thing about Mumford, is his 2nd, 3rd, 4th efforts. he doesn't stop. get's his own tap work often.
                          outstanding pick up.

Thought White was great today. Apart from kicking a few goals I also thought his tackling pressure was better, although he still needs to improve more.

Playfair never looked like winning a marking contest today and his hands are not clean enough. His Bomber opponent always seemed to clear the ball quite easily once it had hit the ground.

Rohan looks good. I'm glad we've got an exciting newbie who can also kick a goal! Jetta is just having a shocking year in terms of kicking goals. Hannebury was quiet but ok.

So freaking happy to win! The atmosphere was great towards the end of the game, despite how wet and miserable it was.

ETA: I forgot to mention LRT - bloody fantastic! I feel like he is our most reliable defender atm - always keeps the ball in front of him on the ground. How good was his effort to soccer the ball up to himself in the rain?

While Goodsey was far from his wonderful best, he was instrumental in us gaining the upper hand in the final quarter. White showed that the excitement we had about him at the end of last year wasn't misplaced - still lots to learn but did really well in conditions that shouldn't really suit him. Still not sure where Rohan will eventually play but is proving a pretty handy 3rd forward, and even Bevo justified the selectors' decision with his contribution today.

Not sure about the 3 tall forward line-up, even when it is a dry day and those three forwards include Bradshaw. If they are intent on leaving Goodes playing in the forward line - which appears to be the case, would rather another smaller forward in the team - especially on a day like today. Who did all the damage in the reserves this week?

Pyke was pretty good in support in the rucks. He gave a great tap to McVeigh for that goal in the 2nd qtr, which had the commentators saying how good Mumford was, until they realised it was Pyke.

Pyke's attempted handball was a highlight, too.
