Past Meetings
2010
R4 Reserves 18.10 (118) defeated Eastlake 17.9 (111) @ SCG
In an entertaining and competitive match, the Reserves managed to hold on against a fash-finishing Demons outfit. Top-up player Kieran Emery and Matthew O'Dwyer both booted 3 majors while Mike Pyke, Gary Rohan and Dylan McNeil were the standouts.
2009
R2 Reserves 11.9 (75) defeated by Eastlake 27.13 (175) @ ANZ
R8 Reserves 16.10 (106) drew with Eastlake 16.10 (106) @ SCG
R12 Eastlake 17.16 (118) defeated Reserves 8.10 (58) @ Manuka

Recent Form
Reserves - WLWDW
Eastlae - LLWPL (P = postponed)
Last Round
Reserves 28.12 (180) defeated Tuggeranong 11.6 (72)
A late change of venue was of no distraction to the Reserves, as they pounded Tuggeranong in the cold but dry conditions.
Eastlake 14.8 (92) defeated by Belconnen 16.13 (109)
Team List
Listed players
In: Jetta (senior demotion), McKaigue (missing last week - ???), O'Dwyer (non-playing senior emergency)
Out: Pat Veszpremi (senior emergency), Ben McGlynn (senior promotion), Ted Richards (senior emergency), Campbell Heath (???)
Jetta makes his reserves 'debut' and hopefully he'll land a few goals to boost his confidence. No idea why McKaigue was missing last week and why Heath is missing this week - both have no reported injury concerns.
Scholarship Players
In: May
Out: Blake Guthrie, Nathan Kenny
Top ups
No Kieran Emery this week, he's representing the Sydney AFL.

Prediction
The Demons are in a mini-slump at the moment and find themselves out of a finals spot (albeit with a game in hand). However, they have plenty of quality players at their disposal - the aforementioned Gibson and Hall, ex-Swan Aaron Bruce and rep players Sean Clarke, Leigh McMahon. The Reserves will be aiming to finish off this stretch of away games with another victory. The Demons will provide stronger opposition to the Reserves than last week's team Tuggeranong, and with a slightly weaker squad at their disposal, it will not be a straightforward victory.

Talking points
- O'Dwyer was harshly dropped from the seniors after just 1 week and a reasonable outing against the Hawks. He stayed behind in Sydney as the emergency last week so missed a chance to put his name forward. Will he come anywhere near the 54 possessions at his last Manuka outing?
- Jetta given a 'rest' this week won't want to take his return to the seniors for granted given how many players are waiting in the wings. Can he finally boot a goal to kickstart his tally? (yes I know he kicked a couple in the NAB Cup)
- Sam Reid has earnt two BOGs playing on the opposition's best tall forward in 2 of the past 3 rounds. He may find himself up against ex-Adelaide Crow Chad Gibson or ex-Richmond Tiger Ray Hall this week.
- It was Lewis Johnston's turn to get a fluff piece in the Swans website this week. Can he follow up Maxfield's generous praise by kicking another bag to follow up his 4 goal haul last week?
