I think at Whites' stage of development he deserves to be second key forward, obviously after Bradshaw when he is back. At this level he does not get best defender and can develop, but I liked his attack last night. Also good to have Chad Cornes stuck back there minding him most of the night.
Mummy was great, but as posted by some others Pyke was good too. Loved his effort and showed some football ability (good to see he has also retained union skills with that awesome throw/pass). I was skeptical of the union convert idea, but quickly becoming part of the Canadian Swans fan club.

What makes you think GC or GWS would want Heath? I just don't see it.[/QUOTE]

Just turned 19, excellent junior career, 187cm still growing has trained off and on for 2 years with a great club and looked ok in his 2 senior games.
I think GWS and GC will probably end up with quite a few players fitting that description and they will all be fast tracked at senior level.

White was far better towards the end of last year than he has shown this year

I think you just described at least 1 player from every clubs list.

Regardless of that though. Let just look at this from your weird perspective.
You are suggesting that Jesse is holding back Heath from getting a game.
Also, you seem to think we're going to lose players at seasons end due to lack of senior appearances.

Out of Jesse and Campbell, I know who I'd prefer to keep on my list. Especially considering we're comparing chalk and cheese.

Good win. Pretty dreary game, we really just squeezed Port into depression and they were never going to fight after that first goal in the 4th. Still thats an 8 point win going into the break!! Now for the filth in a fortnight.

I am so glad we don't have to listen to Matthew Campbell too often, combined with Pickering they make possibly the worst footy anchor commentary (to quote Jeremy Clarkson) IN THE WOOOORRLLLD!! Even in the wrapup you could see him wanting to vomit talking about the Swans win. The box is no place for one-eyed parochialism! (and they don't even get their players right during the call). Neither does Spud but at least he calls the game not his opinion.

On our blokes. Eski was truly inspired and obviously pumped for a big performance following last weeks effort. Mummy bloody fantastic again, not just the tackles and 2nd/3rd efforts....his deft delivery into Goodes for that mark/goal in the pocket was impressive for a big fella. Jude stringing a few together now. Hanners will place well in our B&F this year, has probably been the most consistent, and I though Mattner was very good.

            Goodsey...... LOVED YOUR GAME!!!

I'm guessing both teams would be much more interested in White.

Yeah definitely quieter. You get that though I guess. First game under the lights too? The young kids are going to have quiet games every now and then, case in point Hanners last week. Lots to look forward too in the coming years! : )

He has been here since the 2006 draft, so he's been here since the 2007 season. He had a magoos season in 2007, a magoos with a taste season in 2008, worked his way into the side in 2009, is a regular part of the side in 2010. He is 22 1/2 years old and a key position size guy, who has spent probably close to half his senior games playing as a ruckman instead. He plays as the third forward, and is about third on our goalkickers by both total and average per game.

When Bradshaw plays I'd say Braddy is the 1st, 3rd and 4th choice forward 50 target and he averages 10 disposals per game and 5.6 marks resulting in 3.1 goals per game, White averages 8.1 from 2.8 and kicks 1 goal per game. White is lamented for his second efforts, but he actually averages more disposals that don't come from marks than Bradshaw does (more tackles, too).

If you look at that and think it is an abnormal development curve for a guy taken at pick 79, and that the guy can't possibly get any better than he is now, then there's a hell of a lot of guys in the AFL that people should just give up on now. The Swans went after Bradshaw because he's a very good player, and gave him a 3 year contract- I think it's fair to say that's because they think it'll be 3 years until White can hold down FF fulltime, and I think that's a normal development curve. 3 years playing with Bradshaw and White would only be 25 going into the 2013 season and could potentially be a 4/5 year option as a FF.

And no, this isn't all Jesse love- this is guy who played most of his footy as a forward love.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

That really was the Fox Sports 'C' team. I actually turned the sound off during the 3rd quarter and just watched the game in silence for a while, as they were really poor, but it lacked atmosphere (without crowd noise, etc) so I had to turn them back on for the last.

Joey is an absolute star in my mind, a very exciting addition to the group. I know that they didn't really want him to go but I bet a lot of Hawks fans are scratching their heads over it given his performance this season.

I'm amazed at his clearance winning ability; he and Bird in the middle is an exciting option, both guys that always seem to find the time and space to hit a useful target with their clearance rather than just banging it on the boot or handballing it to a guy standing next to them.

During the first quarter Pickering made a comment about the number of inside 50's by Sydney that was actually so wrong he had to correct himself almost straight after he said it.

I don't disagree with you, most people would see it that way, BUT if i was Heath or Vez ect i would be seriously pissed off that White was getting a game ahead of me each week playing the way he is. If i had an opportunity to play senior footy on a regular basis somewhere else i would go. Just like Mummy. The Club spent ages trying to develop Vogels too and that worked out well didn't it?

The Vogels situation is completely irrelevant.

Heath had a chance and while solid, didn't really grab his chance.
What I don't understand, is your argument for these players to replace Whites position in the team when they don't play KPF. It just doesn't add up.
