I agree, which was why I suggested the EPL version. No team would stay up for more than 4 years at a team, meaning the standard in all the "third" tier comps would be raised. This would also give guys who missed their first shot at the big time a clearer path back - like Luke Vogels! http://www.redandwhiteonline.com/forum/showthread.php/21592-Vogels-and-Grundy
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I agree something needs to be done, but I think it's certainly a concern for the current competitions. Taking Sydney Reserves and the 2 top clubs out of AFL Canberra premier division would leave it with 3 clubs, the second division comp has one extra club that does not field a premier division squad so at a stretch they could pop up.

I don't doubt that they can get it to work eventually, but I just think it's a long term thing to get up and running.

The problem with having only one or two ACT teams is that outside of the Swans Reserves it's a 4 team comp. What do you get the two or three teams left behind to do?
