Highly unfair to Pyke. The previous round, against Port, he took a number of important marks, several of them in the back line where he was exactly in the right place to fill a hole. Yes, he was ineffecitve around the ground against the Pies but so was half the team, including one bloke who has two Brownlow medals to his name. He (Pyke) has barely swapped his 'L' plates for his 'P's and you're already labelling him a Spud?!

According to footy show ins are Tiger Braddy and Vez....no outs yet......although they are probably making it up

I am going to put my neck on the line (barely) and predict that tomorrow we will see:

Ins Bradshaw Kennelly TDL Veszpremi Playfair
              Outs White Jetta

Roos has already flagged the two outs, unless he's had a change of heart since the weekend. He has also said Bradshaw will be named even if they are not sure he will get up and I suspect Kennelly will be similar. If TDL is going to play, they will make that clear tomorrow because for a debutant they rarely wait until the last moment (ie after Friday training) to make it known. And they will already have told him so his parents can get over to Melbourne for the weekend. Even if he isn't going to play, I suspect he'll be named on the extended bench as an encouragement reward for last week's game. Vez also deserves at least an "emergency award" and Playfair is a no-brainer if White is really going to be dropped and they're unsure on Bradshaw.

There is some chance that another will be dropped (Rohan and Bevan the only two real possibilities) in which case MOD or Thornton might come into the squad. I hope Rohan stays another week, though, and am fairly indifferent towards Bevan's inclusiion or otherwise.

Would love to see TDL and Vez get a run as permanent forwards. If Playfair and Braddy both play will goodsy finally start in the midfield?

If we lost to Richmond it'll be mighty embarrassing, let alone potentially spirit-breaking for the season. Let's hope we're firing on all pistons this time around (injury list allowing) ...

Last night's footy show had teams for this round. Cant find them anywhere online, but the team they had for us had no sign of TDL. Vez, Braddy and Tadgh were in, with no outs yet. Surely a guy who kicks what 19? goals in his last three games has to get a run in a team with a Forward line ( admitted by the coach) that needs a re-think.

As others have said, it was just a guess by the footy show....it has to be, teams arent named until today.
