Goodes won't be dropped anytime soon. Let's see...dual Brownlow Medallist, Premiership player. Imminent games record holder for Sydney. Yes, they'll drop HIM before they consider dropping Bevan. He'd be a sensational addition to the reserves, wouldn't he?. Maybe Playfair is a better option than Goodes. Or how about Richards at FF? I know-Jesse White, with Vez as a crumber, with Jetta kicking it over all of their heads on one of his bursts for another behind. Now there's a winning combination. Goode's is going nowhere. Except to the midfield (I pray), where he belongs. Or better yet, let's just be rid of him altogether and pretend that this season nevr happened. Ahhh, the fickleness of the Sydney Supporter

Bradshaw has two more years of his contract. Plenty of time to recover.

Got to have one of Bradshaw, White or Playfair in. Generally not a fan of the Playfair selection, but in this case it's warranted.

Too much to expect LJ, who is a CHF? to play FF on debut.

The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

What the Goodes said, and he happens to be a Captain of this Club. No one is going to drop him. He is not the most consistent player at this club, but he is a major player and no matter what, respect is due.

Now Goodsey, go back to the peak instead of the trough and we will be a much happier bunch of kiddies.....

              What he said.

LJ will be a major player with the club, but still and all he is a very young bloke, spent all last year injured so has had only one half of a season up his sleeve, he will require a bit more time. I expect to see him early next year, and will be jumping up and down when he makes his entrance. All us ressie watchers know what could be in store for us, one day. But at this end of the season, in the position we are at, not the right time to blood a new blood, imo.

I don't see how anyone can think of dropping Goodsy. If you want to get mad at someone make it the people that play him out of position.

Or plenty of time to be our most expensive recruit ever (on a per game basis).

Damn, this is such dissappointing news.

Gee, logical, two debutantes in the forward line, just what we need.

If Bradshaw out, then both of Henry & Myke. The outs seem about right, but you can add Bevo to the scrapheap.

We will see,at least its Richmond, not Geeong and for once the "big Body" trapping the ball in the forwards might work.
Very excited by the debut of TDL,to me he is the player the forward line have been lacking, one who can get 4 kicks for a game but still get 3 goals. I hope he gets a couple of games.
Yeah TDL will know exactly what to do and where to be having played with Subiaco Lions who have won 4 out of the last 6 flags over here he's a canny player who'll make space for himself and get on some nice leads up forward looking forward to seeing him debut.

Yeah the difference with a "natural" forward is how they find space and can find the goals. They are potential match winners, sometimes temporamental but that seems to go with the territory. Love their individual flair and what it gives to the game as a spectacle,eg Bradshaw,s Torpedo goal! What many people don't appreciate is how skilled you have to be to be a forward and how difficult it is to find the gap between the big sticks even with no pressure. Pleased we recruited someone with a track record for being highly skilled around the goals.
