Pleased we recruited someone with a track record for being highly skilled around the goals.
Couldn't agree more. The sooner we see vez running around with TDL and benny Mc in the forward line the better. Imagine the headaches that trio could cause.

Yeah and early on in the season they did cause the opposition a lot of headaches. Havnt been able to get the trio on the park playing together consistently

OMG, OMG, OMG.....I was there! That was the legendary game when Sydney received the worst umpiring decisions in the history of the AFL, six admitted umpire errors resulting in 5 goals to Essendon and one no goal to Sydney. Bombers led by about 40 , we came storming back on the back of a brilliant Adam Schneider...who the ripped his hamstring and has never been the same since. Lost by about 10.

Watching that was worse than watching the nil all draw against St, Kilda.

Bombers had just paid off the umpires to the tune of $20,000 IIRC!!!

Was that the game where Craig Bolton gave away one of the most ridiculous frees of all time? (don't know specifics but i believe he was involved).

Damn, this is such dissappointing news.
At least we didn't trade for him, so considering we have quite a bit of salary cap space I don't see it as a huge issue.

Absolutely....Dean Solomon running with the flight did not even GLANCE at the ball...ran straight into Bolton's chest who was backing back WATCHING the ball. Solomon got a game changing free for high contact.. I think they still play that one at umpire training!

I think in choosing a team it should be form over fame. How has dropping the ball and missing targets be blamed on being played out of position? There is obviously something not right with him either mentally or physically and the Club knows about it and we don't.

I more than anyone hopes he hits form again very soon but form players should be playing first.

He is pulling the best defender every week and getting double and triple teamed because no one else down there is a real threat. Even superman would struggle under those conditions. Plus he is not a forwards backside.

Looking forward to a better team performance ... and hoping it is not too chilly at the G.
Last game against the Hawks the wind was cutting ....(it did warm up for a few minutes with 4 to go).
Goodes and co will lift. the opposition is ok but to be considered for a top 8 finish this is a must win game.

Hoping that there is cheering to get the Bloods flowing from early in the game !

this is a danger game for us...we could end up as the tigers main course
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

That's quite a generous contract considering his age and injury history.

I'm really nervous today, we lose and we open the door to Adelaide etc, we win and we will get that game break on NM (persuming they don't upset the Cats) and keep 12 points between us and the chasing pack.

Hopefully not just a win today, but a percentage boost and a catalyst for the rest of the year. Don't let me down Swans......

The thing that scares me is that in recent times, these games, where we can really keep our fate in our own hands leading towards finals, are games we have tended to lose.

                              I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
