Not sure whether it is influential on how long Smith is out for, but Roos did say Smith hasn't done a hammy before, before proffering "2, 3 maybe 4 weeks" as the length of time out.

Bird and Rohan were listed as 1 week on the injury list. It might be risky to rush them back in, but given there is no reserves game (they have the bye) this weekend, they could sneak one of them in.

No reserves game is a huge blessing. Having read about the injuries in the senior team, I was beginning to wonder how that team would cope with a couple more being taken out (and Thorton injured too). Just puts the pain back a week, though the possible returns of Bird (risky? given the nature of his injury) and Rohan will ease things a bit.

Craig Bolton has said that he would be back in 3 weeks for about 4 weeks now.

It really depends on who is out.

Smith is a certainty, bevan and mcveigh possibilities

TDL could come back in and move Shaw back (though its not ideal as he played very well today)
Jetta play through mid and forward again would mean shaw would have to go back
Vez could play forward or back
Bird would be a risk because he hasnt played for a few weeks
Rohan - ditto hasnt played for a couple of weeks but would be valuable forward or back

          the debut smokeys would be
Reid - played well in the reserves lately by report
mcNeil - ditto but a small human being
Gordan - like the other two by reports has played well in the 2's lately

The Swans have used 35 players this year (according to Dwayne Russell).

jetta and TDL sounds good, Jetta and Rohan would be better if Rohan is ok.
