All credit to him for his comeback, but was never likely to play a big part in our future. Best of luck to the fella.

Very likeable young man, best of luck. Perhaps a farewell at the Geelong game would be a nice touch, encompassing both his clubs.

Thanks for the good times Hank.

Gotta credit the man's endeavour in battling on but looks like the body got the best of him.

You have to like the guy and his attitude. Always worked hard and overcame some big setbacks.

Could never fault his effort, and always unfortunate to see a player forced to retire prematurely due to injuries.

                      Best of luck Hank!

                      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

We always appreciate a person who gives it their best shot, and Henry has certainly done that. In fact, he is a bit of a loss at the moment, and I'd prefer him to Ted as a provider of structure in the F50. Or providing guidance and nurture of youngsters in the twos, which he has done very well this year by the sound of things. Good luck to him in whatever he takes on after football, and may life be good to him.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

In 2008 when Hall was out suspended Mickey O'loughlin played some of his best football in years and he credited it to Playfair.
Henry would lead from deep and create a lot of space for Mickey to run into whereas Hall would demand the ball and in latter years was often getting it on the wings and then kicked it in the direction of where he should have been which generally resulted in two or three defenders in the way.(Think of all the Collingwood games)
Henry wasn't the greatest player, but if you were to ask anyone at the the club they would tell you he had what they call football smarts.
Thanks for your contribution to the club Henry.

man that sucks, i really liked the guy.

Just shows that some bodies just can't handle the stress of AFL... I beleive he had the ability but just couldn't string enough games together for us to build that confidence you need as a key forward.

I can definitely see a big future for him in the AFL Media if he chooses to go that way.
