He is even more of a legend by sticking with the club until the end of the season, really shows that he loves the club and players and wants to do whatever he possibly can to help the boys chances into september and beyond.

About half the senior team hasn't yet submitted to "Playing Fair" scrutiny so he can't leave yet...

Sad news and awful to have such a serious injury after fighting back from the hamstring last year. You have to admire his passion and dedication to get back.
Has been a wonderful member of the red and white family and have enjoyed Playing Fair. Personal favourite was the tea party with Jarred Moore.

Have loved the Playing Fair segments..for someone who has only played 16 games for the club he has made a huge contribution, mostly off the field. One of those blokes that are the positive fabric of society.

Playhard, Playfair! I'll have to start making banners for opposition players as all the focus of all my banners seem to retire, be traded or play in the magoos.

As you say, there are not too many players who have had the impact on the Club or RWO with such a brief stint. Really liked the chap and wish him all the best in life. A great reminder that not all of us can be the best but we can all try and do our best.

Good Luck to the big unit. Made me eat my words when i doubted his ability to contribute meaningfully to our team this year, and i have a lot of respect for the guy and and how he's battled through. Good on ya Henry!

                  All the best, HP.

I don't know if we have had many Henry's on our list and it's a super name, so I hope we find more soon.

Its a shame to see any career ruined by injuries, but especially a player who is a good guy to go with it. Always looked to me to have the footy smarts up top, and had his body let him I have no doubt that had his body been able to put up with AFL footy for longer than it did, he could of been a very fine footballer indeed.

Good luck to Henry- I hope he stays around the footy club, as he is a fine role model for the younger guys at the club and I have no doubt that he is a very positive influence at the club.

I am so very glad he got the opportunity to play a couple of games in the firsts. I was like a lot of other RWO's who weren't too enthusiastic about him getting a gig, until I read how hard he had worked to get himself fit enough to play, battling through his long run of injuries, never knowing whether he would make it back or not. It would be a whole lot sadder if he hadn't had those games (the only positive to Braddy being out). It must give him a great deal of satisfaction that he achieved his goal, if only for a short time.

It's sadder to see him go more than someone like Nick Davis.

Worked his butt off to get a spot on a list and to then even manage a game.

Got everything he could from his body and can be proud of his achievements.

Always thought he was under rated. Real shame to see him go out mid season, and like others thought he could have given more had his body let him.
