We have been bludy disgraceful, but so have the umpires. that goal off the post was so @@@@ing clear it wasn't funny, and then the OOB, and numerous @@@@ calls all around the ground. The umps are playing 2 set of rules- one for us and one for the dees. But we are also playing terribly, and with the exeception of goodes look a long way off the pace.
fmd though the C7 commentating is a disgrace- they all but laughed off the goal off the post, and Bruce was wanking off about Jones making a great spoil on kirk there at the end of the quarter when kirk clearly took the mark and had his arms chopped.

If Melbourne were playing anyone other than us, that would have been a delight to watch - their speed and ball use was exhilarating. But given it is us, it has been painful. A few of our guys look rattled and have panicked with the ball. At least Goodes looks "on".
Game is not over but we need to
- start winning more contested ball. We can't cover the Dees' speed when they have the ball, so we need to get first hands on it more often
- keep our heads when we do have the ball
- tackle better
- hope the umpires start applying the rules correctly and consistentlyComment
