Oh yeah White, forgot about him. I can't figure him out either. Lead well sometimes but doesn't use his size to break packs and get the ball on the ground. Saying that, the delivery was poor and everyone seems to just look for Goodes when kicking it in the F50.

Was not as bad as the scoreboard reads. Intensity was pretty good. Keep the faith, we'll knock over the hawks next week. I'd like to see rohan play next week.

Crowd 30,710. Waste of space having the game at ANZ.

Hear hear. Much much better performance than last week. The Cats play like that and no one in the competition beats them. We play like that (and kick straight!) we'll beat Hawks next week.

Just finished watching the game terrible performance one of the worst of the year lucky Cats took the foot off the accelerator like usual(I think they pity us) otherwise we would of been done by 100 points

Their effort was much better this week. If we'd been accurate in the first quarter, and been able to put some scoreboard pressure on them, who knows...

Roos just gave him a spray in the post match press conference. Says he has to impose himself physically at the contest - has been told time and again and is not doing it.

If we had of taken our chances we would of been in that game. We were competitive at least.

                    Shaw needs to go though.

Just home from Homebush. The Swans tried hard but were outclassed. Ted was good and it was exciting to watch Jets. Jude was trying hard (and a better kick on goal than Goodes) but playing in defence showed how stretched we were. McGlyn and Kennedy have been such good pick ups. We might do alright when we have a senior team on the field. Spoke to Craig Bird who said he and Nic and LRT look available for next week.

Strange game, we lost but I'm quite upbeat. But that might be because we were invited into a box and plied with free booze and food all night.

If we had taken our chances in the first quarter (we really did take it up to them and should have led by 2-3 goals), who knows, but I was pretty uninspired with the 2nd and 3rd quarters generally.

I wont comment though, just feel very flat seeing us lose by 50 plus points in an 'empty' ANZ.

With our slackness old age and lack of pace we make teams look good really they were beatan by Adelaide we were hardly competetive and we were playing at home this week..................look forward to bottoming out in the next few years, if we dont get rid of some of the geriatrics we will get down the ther anyway it will just take longer to get there and once we're there it will take years to get back up.

According to Henry Playfair in the ABC commentary box McVeigh is not injured.

I reckon these past 2 weeks show us how valuable LRT and Smith are to our backline.

Not only is Jesse a bit of an enigma, one has to wonder what the forwards practise at team practices. In comparison with the Cats forward line there seems to be no understanding among the players playing there. If Goodes is not there and Jesse is goodness knows where, no one does any leading, the small forwards just stand there and wait for the ball to be kicked to them but surprise, the taller or more mobile backs cut it off before it gets there. When either Jesse or Adam are there, there is no one to crumb the ball when it hits the ground, or half the team is there clogging the area and getting in each other's way. You would think that after about 10 games, plan B (without Bradshaw) would be in place and sort of working?

That's why TDL should of been in the side he wouldn't of won us the game off his own bat or anything though he's a proper forward and knows how to make space and not just stand around waiting for the ball to drop in his lap like these midfield/forward waanabe types

Dare I say it, I said the same thing back in post #11. White needs to get 'angry' whatever it takes to get him to impose his 100KG on the other sides. He plays mostly like a Half forward flanker. If he was to 'bust a few packs' and put a thought in the minds of a few defenders he would probably find the game a bit easier.
