Pyke signs to Swans for two years

I reckon Currie should look for a new club - he deserves better

I suspect given his contract is up at the end of 2011 that GWS will have highlighted his name.

Bit unfair on Currie. Pyke has had 20 games in the ones and Currie none. If Currie had 20 games under his belt in the big time would he have developed more and quicker and been better value to the team than Pyke? I guess we will never know.

I don't think it's that unfair on Currie. He doesn't have the body right now to match it with AFL ruckmen. If we bought in Currie for a run in the seniors, he would be crushed to death. Like actually crushed. To death. I haven't seen him at all since the pre-season, but I hope he's hit the gym in that time, as he defintely showed promise, just needs to bulk up.
