As much as I loved qualifiying for a GF against Freo at ANZ or surviving death during the Northern Euro weather we got for the North elimination, I'm a massive SCG fan. Not sure any ground in the country could match the reactions at Essendon Prelim 96, Saints Qualifying 98 or Geelong V Nick Davis in 2005. Just something sooooo special about a packed SCG. LOVE IT.

Where I want it and where the AFL will play it are unfortunately 2 different things.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

I see no harm from voicing our preference, if not for this season then maybe in the future.

I'd love to see as big a crowd as possible at ANZ. At the end of the day though I don't really care. Just want to win come finals time.

Playing at the SCG is a bigger advantage for us than ANZ. More chance of us winning at the SCG so no question really

No harm at all just not sure the AFL will listen to us. They seem set on ANZ for any finals in Sydney.

Homebush provides an opportunity for much bigger crowds, simply because it's built for big occasions. They don't come any bigger than finals football.

You mean like the 19,000 or so crowd at our last final. At ANZ.

I was there for that game. Were you? If not, you missed a great game.

I passed on my usual ROK option to give some SCG love. ANZ, bleah. As backyards go, ROK can come to mine.

Of course I was there. And it was a great game. But 19,000 was a crap sized crowd, especially for a final.

SCG. It's a no-brainer. 1996 prelim against Essendon anyone? 2005 Geelong match? But most importantly of all, it's to our advantage and what would we want more than a better chance at winning?

SCG, better atmosphere, better beer, better location for going out after, and a better chance that we will win
One vege patch at a time

I always want swans games to be played at SCG not ANZ but god I hope the ticketing is organized well this year. I am fed up of lining up for hours for finals tickets at ticketing outlets with crap computer systems. We are members FFS and it is 2010 we should be able to get tickets without lining up
