Poll: If we get a home final, where should it be played?

Strewth, have we turned into Saints fans over night? A week ago, the angry mob was arguing how quickly we could escort Roos and his hopeless jokes off the premises, now we're arguing about where to play a home final?
You mob are kidding yourselves. Next there will be a poll on the design for our grand final T-shirts!10100111001 ;-)Comment

I voted for the SCG. However, there are a few good things I find about Homebush over the SCG. One is the absence of major traffic on the way to the ground, and the convenience of parking (if you get to park at No. 1 Parking Statition). The food halls, with the live music playing, are also a lot of fun. Finally, if the crowd exceeds 60,000 the atmosphere is fantastic.Comment

OK all ANZ supporters, so after the game, where can you walk to for a good feed and a good drink or do you all just leave and go home? I like to enjoy a beer (or three) after a game with mates and talk about the game. ANZ makes that impossible. There is no decent food or decent pub - the closest is a 20-30 minute walk thru the park to Concord west. At the SCG we can wander outside have Crown St, Cleveland St (plus others) with any number of bars/food/pubs avaialable. Now if the white elephant could have that - all would be good.Last edited by blinddog; 10 August 2010, 01:19 PM.One vege patch at a time

Really, the only thing I would improve about the SCG would be the restoration of the Tramline (light rail) from Circular Quay to La Perouse down ANZAC Parade. Those event buses - $5.40 return - are a total gyp.Last edited by laughingnome; 10 August 2010, 01:28 PM.10100111001 ;-)Comment

They were not at ANZ for our last final and they were not there against the Cats a few weeks. Why are we pandering to these people who turned up for a game or two in 2007 and have shown no further interest?-Comment

ANZ is pathetic to watch footy at, it's that simple. I understand that from a financial perspective we need to play there but that doesn't stop me hoping that will change so that we can get back to the SCG full-time...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

And hopefully, we'll qualify for a home final this year, get a huge crowd at Homebush, and march on to the semis and beyond.

Saying that half the seats don't even face the middle is just plain absurd. Which seats? I've watched numerous events from all over the venue and they ALL face the middle.Comment

It doesn't worry me too much, we have a fun time at both venues, they are both very different. I have to take the tin lids home, but isnt there a licensed club out at Homebush were you could gather afterwards. Courtesy of The Olympics we are lucky to have this stadium. it's a great cycling spot too.
