Gerard Healy has just annointed Jack as the new Kirk for the Swans.
Jack can take reprimand..

Pretty sure it's 3 years, not 5.That's not the way it works. You have to have an X year clean record to get the good behaviour discount. If you've been in the system fewer than X years you don't get it. I just can't recall off the top of my head what X is. If I had to hazard a guess I would say probably 5. Jack was drafted in the 2005 rookie draft, which means this is his 5th year. So he doesn't quite have a 5 year clean record.Does God believe in Atheists?Comment

Three years from debut, perhaps? Or maybe rookie years don't count. Or maybe Jack has done something minor in the past which we've all forgotten about. Do you think that $5 bet he put on ages ago might matter?Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!Comment

Google afl tribunal "good record" and the first result is a PDF where the extract states it's five years. So you may have found a loophole. Draft a sniper, play him in the reserves for five years and unleash havoc in the sixthComment

Jack's a pearler. Kelly, Kirk . . . Either way, better than being the new Stefan Carey.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

Guerra's tackle was also late, that's probably why the 2 weeker.....anyway he probably deserves it for other past crimes that snuck through....mind you it would have had to be over hard if a bloke like Mal has a bit of trouble staying on his feet.
Glad Kizza got a short one and reprimand. He is a hard player, but have never seen him doing anything I would be ashamed of as a Swan supporter.
Apparently his first quarter was the best of any afl player recorded , which is outstanding no matter how you look at it. Maybe why he had a feather of leniency.Last edited by Primmy; 10 August 2010, 08:17 AM.If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

I took it as more the inspirational type rather than the playing style.
And I agree. He already seems like he'd bleed for the club in the same way Kirk and Jude do.Comment

Over what period? Just this round?
At the game I was aware he was having a real impact, but you have to watch the replay to realise just how good he was. It wasn't just the quantity of possession or the fact he was winning plenty of hard ball. His use was quite exquisite too, both by hand and by foot. His handball to McVeigh, who in turn handballed to McGlynn to set up the first goal was a pearler.Comment

Exactly-I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Jack & Jude firing up the team (on top of everything else they do) next season, Jude already plays his part and Kieren seems to be a natural leader. I'll still miss seeing Kirky running around ready for battle but I think these two will take up the role and make it their ownComment
