White looks lost out there, partly because the way the ball is coming in. He should just focus on forward pressure and bringing the ball to ground like he did last week, it's very congested out there so difficult to take contested marks. We have turned it into a scrap and this is the only way I think we can win, but need to find a forward line and take our chances. Hannebery seems to play better on the bigger grounds, Dennis-Lane has looked very good also. Jetta has reverted back to his pre-Round 19 self - his brain seems to be one step ahead of the game, a bit like MO'L, but the luck hasn't been with him today. Bevo showed in the first half that he's a trier - not the worst player going around, but exposed against good opposition.Last edited by Xie Shan; 14 August 2010, 04:28 PM.Comment

I think we can all feel the frustration - promised so much early this game, but it has fallen away from there.
Goodesy - as always - is the key. If he can impose himself on the game we are a good chance but at the moment Benny McGlynn is at least showing the way. I love his attack on the footy and sheer desperation - he is also not without a fair bit of skill.
Grundy doing OK and it was good to see Hannebery get inlvolved that qtr, he is gaining stature as a key player for us.Comment

Jesse is really frustrating me.
We all know what he's capable of, but the times he is delivering on his potential are become more and more rare.
I don't quite know how to put into words what he's doing.
It does look like he has been told to use his size and strength, which he did well last week, but today it's almost as if he is trying to fake being strong at a contest to pull the wool over the coaches eyes.
He really hasn't looked too genuine in any of his contests today.Comment

agree Bevo should be in Canberra, so should Lewis we must have to start again with 19 before the next goal, he should not have missed that one. Jesse I agree just attack the ball but they will not kick it ling, all they should do is kick it to the goal square and crumb underneath him. It amazes me how the oppostion can waltz around us and get in the clear. Also amazes me how they can shake clear of tackles. Our kicking to teammates is appalling we must be color blind jumpers could not be much further apart. We will need to pick it up or it will be along flight home. I dont care if some players in the reserves are not lisatening give the others a go, some of the firsts are obvioulsy saying Roosey wont drop me as there should be a couple.Comment

Gee, RWO needs to supply chill pills.
Are we playing as bad as everybody here seems to think??? Not that I can see. In fact, as has been stated, we are in front of every key stat, just haven't turned it into scoreboard dominance.
Chill.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment
