Great win! Though for a while there it looked like we were trying hard to find a way to lose it.

Hannebery is such an immense talent, I am looking forward to reading about his new contract soon... He, Mummy and Jack were great today. Throw in young Mitchell in a couple of years and it will be an elite midfield.

Loved Jetta's goal. With confidence restored he's a very dangerous player for us.

I don't think he was to work on his kicking, so much as he has to work on his concentration. He sometimes loses focus with the ball, thinking too far ahead perhaps? In any case, when he does, he leans back a bit, his technique breaks down and he just kind of pats at the ball instead of kicking through it, and off it goes to the side or short.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

bravest win in a long time. We are very very lucky to have Mumford in our team. His second (and third, and fourth!) efforts were incredible. Real concern for McGlynn - but he inspired the win by showing his teammates how to find the goals when they really didn't know how earlier.

I said at half time Jetta looked like his brain was moving faster than the game - it showed in the second half when he played more in the middle. His creativity and vision to spot targets further forward was a huge factor in the last-quarter revival. Glad Jesse got the winning goal - he's struggling, right now, but I just think we need to perservere - he played a much better last quarter.

I thought the commentary was about as good as you will ever get for a game in the west. In fact, I thought it was pretty balanced and they didn't appear to be barracking for either side.

I think the technical term is leather poisoning

It was absolutely shocking in the first half. It was quite balanced in the second half though, I agree. Maybe the producers gave them a tap on the shoulder?

Will we ever have a match thread that doesn't complain about biased commentary?

EDIT: Maybe they were biased... Commentators that constantly refer to Moore as one of our best runners are clearly one eyed.

Awesome win. Mummy, Jack and Hanners played brilliantly.

Glad Jessie came good at the end.

Commentary was terrible, how many times did they get players confused as well!

Not enough that his man has kicked two and set others up but he's managed to miss two simple chances as well. JUST GET ON A FREAKN PLANE NOW BEVO!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfair. Bevo was just as good as Walters in attack. Rebounded well, won some shots on goal, kicked one, set up a few more. Bevo also wasn't on Walters for the entire game, I'm fairly sure Mattner spent a good chunk of time on him.

Bevo acquitted himself quite reasonably in the end.

Without wanting to put the boot into Bevo, Walters did little during the time Mattner was on him, and then his cameo in the second half came when Bevo was back on him.

Assuming Smith is ready to come back next week, one of Bevan or Shaw is likely to make way.
