Lot of talk about Hanners but IMHO Keiran Jack was the driving force in the midfield (not meaning to understate Hanners game). His 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th etc. efforts were very very good.

Our ruckwork was also great and may have been a different game had Sandilands been there. Mummy was great and he probably is the recruit of the season (love to see players that almost will the team to a win in tight games) but there's a fellow named McGlynn who can't be far behind, if report of fracture is true I hope he has a good recovery and resumes where he left off next year. Unfortunate way to end a great season.

    FINALS here we come.

Loved reading the last quarter posts.

Massive win - almost makes up for the Richmond debacle.

Home final still looks remote though. Carlton really racked up the percentage today.

That's what I said; he needs to work on his kicking.

Agreed. They get a bit excited but I thought it was OK. Pickering needs to get Grundy and Mattner sorted in his mind. Kept calling Mattner instead of Grundy.

Roos said Shaw did a top job on Hill so it won't be him.

You'd hardly know Hill was playing either - which is what Shaw spent most of the game trying to achieve.

Absolute classic this week: one of them claimed that O'Keefe, Jack, Hannebery and Bevan are "hard to tell apart." What, because they all have fair hair?

Thank you Liz. Shaw was superb and he popped up with some very crucial spoils when needed.
Haven't won a close one like that for a while. Proud of the boys.
McGlynn's cheek doesn't sound great which is so disappointing. He is one fiesty tough bugger.
                      Keiran Jack - legend.
Hanners got his hands on everything but needs more help from the senior guys like ROK. Very glad to see he took that mark.
I was so proud of Jesse - he was super in that final few minutes. Everything that FF should be.
Anyone notice Roosy with a few tears?
I love the red and white!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shaw did the job on Stephen Hill today. Bevo's the most likely to make way for Smith.

For biaised commentary, Luffie and Seymour did a pretty good job on MMM.

I wish I had listened to MMM, I was listening to the second half on 702ABC on my drive back to Sydney when with about 6 or 7 minutes to go in the 4th they decided to cross to a nil all game between two Qld NRL teams. First road rage incident I've had since I was on my Ps.

O'Keefe and Hannebery are very difficult to tell apart IMO. Both have the same hair colour, skin tone, both left footers and both have single digit numbers on their guernseys.
