Big Braddy back for the finals..

I disagree, he had been our most important loss for the year. Pyke has been an adequate backup to Mumford and Grundy has stepped up again this year to cover Bolts. Nobody has really put there hand up in the forward line. Its impossible to really predict but I'm pretty sure Braddy would have been handy in close lossed to the Hawks and Tigers.
Having said that, we are going to have an awesome ruck setup next year when Seaby comes back!!Last edited by caj23; 17 August 2010, 05:09 PM.Comment

Both LRT and Bradshaw at least 1 more week. *SIGH*

If you were being really hard nosed, you'd give up on all the injured players. we aren't going to win the flag so why not give as many as possible the chance to get finals experience. I'd be devastated if we rushed LRT back and so delayed his fitness for 2011. Likewise for Braddy - though I'd put him in against the Lions if he was fit enough. All up, good thing I'm not making the call. Both LRT and Bradshaw at least 1 more week. *SIGH*

The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.Comment

Earlier in the year it could be argued that Bird was to be our no1 midfielder in future years. I would suggest right now he is behind Jack and Hannaberry and will have to work very hard to earn his spot in the midfield.Comment

It's McGlynn who we'll really miss while he gets better. He's far more important to our structure than most people realise. I hope his absence isn't too costly this week, but I'm sure there'll be more than enough motivation to cover for him.Comment

Smith puts me in the mind of the lovechild of Kirk and Malceski. Toughness and defensive attributes of Kirk, attacking flair and smoothness of Malceski, kicking smack bang in between. Whether he'll be as good as either is very debateable, but in terms of the type of player, that's what I've got him pinned down as.Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!Comment
