Swans V Bulldogs - Crowd Prediction

G'day fellow bloods fans, my prediction is 48, 000.
Slight Hijack, but it is related to the thread.
This is my first post here. Sorry I haven't been on here sooner, but I can see me losing a few hours a day here.
I grew up on the mid north coast of NSW, and so was a rugby league player and fan. But I remeember being about 10 and watching a game of VFL on one of the two channels we had at the time. And I distinctly remember I was a devotee from that day forth. I have been a Swans fan since they moved to Sydney.
I never got to see them live until much later, 1997, as I was living in Northern Queensland. In 2004 I moved to the Uk, so following my beloved Swans, became a real drama. We didn't have foxtel that first year, and after trying in vain to get one of the 120 tv's in the nearby sportsbar in Liverpool, to screen a match ( let alone the final) so we would drive three hours to my inlaws to watch their foxtel.
Now 2010 sees my wife and I back in Australia. Pensively I took my wife to a game early in the season. To my delight she has become hooked and we have only missed one home game since.
Our enjoyment of the last few games (ok so we missed the Geelong game) has been heightened because we have had the good fortune to have friends visiting from interstate and overseas. It was a blast, explaining the fundamentals of AFL to our friends from Liverpool at the recent Hawks match. And you better believe they were cheering and shouting with jubilee as we all stood in ovation after Jetta's first goal.
That said, does anyone have a spare members pass or guest pass for Saturday?? I know this is pretty bolshi of me to ask and I do apologise for my brashness, but my best mate is returning to NSW after serving with the RAN off the Northern territory, for the last 4 years.
Don't worry, I asked my wife and she's not giving up her ticket either.Last edited by dreadom; 19 August 2010, 11:41 AM.Comment

WARNING ! WARNING ! SEAT ALERT in BREWONGLE!!!!!
I have two PREMIUM seats in the Brewongle Stand that I can sell. My two kids are with "she who had to be formerly obeyed" this weekend and she won't let them go to the game. Serious karma attraction on her part. However,
All I ask from those mere mortals who would like to sit with the chardonnay sipping, caviar consuming Brewongle elite is this:
1. Seats are about $70 normally in this section. So if you pay for your own seat upgrade (about $20 per seat) and two beers per seat for me (mid -strength) as I'm driving and the tickets can be yours. I will forgo the potato batons on this Saturday as I am watching my waste line for summer.
2. I plan to be there for the start of the Ressies game.
Preference will be given to single volaptuous individuals of the opposite gender who are mute and are just happy with the simple things in life.Last edited by Bas; 19 August 2010, 08:17 PM.In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.Comment
