I'm not so sure they would. I know what your saying, they'd be keen to get Moore back in, but with the way Jetts has been playing, i don't think his spot would be up for anybody other than McGlynn if fit. Even then, im sure they'd look at others before Jetts. Can you tell how much i love this guy? Is it obvious?Comment

Gee Des you must have had a few reds at lunchtime. How can you consider leaving out Smith.Last edited by Nico; 24 August 2010, 07:28 PM.Comment

I thought I read where LRT was out for the season and Bird can't be considered with no match practice.Last edited by Nico; 24 August 2010, 07:24 PM.Comment

I do too! But it will have to come down to TDL/Rohan/Jetta/Bevan for McGlynn & Moore.I'm not so sure they would. Yeah for sure, but TDL aint going anywhere, nor is Jetts. It would probably be the Rooster, even though i love his work too and would love him to stay in the team and have a breakout performance.Comment

It kind of works like a professional foul doesn't it. Even if he does give away a free kick he it still holds up play somewhat, allowing our boys chance to get back into defensive positions."Fortunately, this is the internet, so knowing nothing is no obstacle to having an opinion!." THey're not, but when are we ever fully fit? WE've been down at least four or five players for most of the year. That's normal. To be a top team you really need to bat deep like Collingwood. They've got players like O'Bree, Fraser, Anthony and Lockyer running around in the twos.
The form of Bevan and Richards has been a key part of the Swans' revival in the past three or four weeks.
THe Age ran this story on "fill-in players", quoting Grant Thomas. Didn't mention Bevo and Ted, but they certainly fit that description.

Another fine game by Bevo.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment
