I don't hate anyone, but I don't believe Bevan is in our best 22. I do however acknowledge that his recent form suggests otherwise.

connolly, bless him wherever he may be, must be absolutely loving the work of his 'little champion quarterback' this past month.

shouldn't he now be a 'quarterfront'?

He doesn't really play that backline role anymore.

Bless the lad; THAT's what you do when your career is on the line, you have lost confidence, you have lost your place. You get right back into it and do your bloody best.

Have always been a Bevo fan when he plays forward. Really good position for him.

Hate is too strong a word but the Bevo shouldn't be in the team brigade have gone quiet because he's playing good football and you have to give credit where it's due. Doesn't mean they were wrong because he had been playing crap footy for a long time.

I'm a bit of a Bevo fan but I totally agree with what you've said here Al.

It's quite funny, I was chatting with a mate who still has an issue with Bevo and I was actually defending him. Amazing how things can turn . We are a chance to play in a Prelim and I'm defending Bevo. What next, Elvis walks through the door and say April fools.

I meant haters in the current form, not hate but more the bitchy version of hate.

anyways, what you are implying is that he had only been playing crap football. I think he was more inconssistent than crap. Also maybe he just is better suited and more comfortable from the centre forward.

I always thought Bevo was always consistent. ,consistently bad but as I said, more than happy to give credit where it's due. Also you could be spot on about finding the right role for him. At the moment he is going well in that defensive forward position. Good luck to him.

I'm an unapologetic Bevan fan. It's great to see him play well in the forward 50. His tackling (when disciplined) is ferocious.

There you go Big Al. Something else about Bevo for you to get frustrated about. He is good enough now that you are moved to DEFEND him and give him due credit. Must be reeeeelllly annoying!

Hehe.... Not only defending Bevo this week I've also defended the atmosphere at ANZ in another thread. Strange times indeed.

He has done very well recently Bevan, and with Teddy you always know you will get 110% effort. Without LRT around, Teddy has done really well helping to fill that important gap in our backline.
