Who will be your swans finals star?

    So many to choose from:

Keiran Jack's game last week was astonishing, 26 touches, 3 goals, 8 marks and 5 tackles jaysus thats good.

I think he will be vital but I think the competition pricked its ears up and he's going to have to play on the best mdfielders in the comp now.

I would love Hanners to crush Carlton and break the back of Dad's old team the Doggies, but its his first AFL final's series.

I think that the most important performer for this finals series is Goodes. I want him to absolutely star. He needs to do all the unselfish things as per normal but we also need an X Factor to win these last few games.

Who is your star for September?

    Mumford!!
    first use of the ball.
    second efforts
    third efforts
    Tackles
    Smothers
    Rove his own ball.
If he can kick a few resting in the Fwd line, will be the icing on the cake.

AND Now Pyke has stepped up, should make his job a bit easier.

the hammer will come back and dominate after a week off. He always lifts when the team needs him, just the type to flourish in the finals

I feel that Lewis Jetta is on the cusp of just exploding. He loves big crowds and the big atmosphere and I think he will come to the fore now that his confidence is on the up.

If Ben McGlyyn was fit and healthy he would be my Man. You can see the determination building inside of him. He would have CUT Carlton apart on Sunday.

I think TDL is going to be the goal scoring star. He's still an unknown to the opposition and I can't wait to see him at ANZ, creating space, crumbing, laying on pressure.

I think Jude is going to cut loose as well on Sunday. The more experienced guys are going to step up. Foot down the whole the way. I'm expecting a MASSIVE game from Jude on Sunday. Just like that game against Essendon where he played like a man possessed, I expect exactly that on Sunday, especially if that rain comes along.

            Mummy for me.
I reckon his knee is fine and him not playing last week was more of a rest/precautionary thing. If he really were injured, I don't believe they'd have let him fly to Brissie for the game.
I think he'll be back this week, well rested and back to his damaging best. Can't wait!

I'd like to see McVeigh really impose himself on the game, and now that taggers have to attend to Hanners and CrackerJack, Macca might be able to break out from some of the close attention he's been getting. If he can, he'll feed others and score a bit himself.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I second the "if only Gopher McGlynn was back" sentiment! As for a single pick - what an embarrassment of riches, even with the injury list, to choose from! Mumford is such a presence; Kieran Jack is scary-good and getting better every game; Trent Dennis-Lane (or "Dennis Trent-Lane? Trennis Danelent? umm ..." as I call him; I am always dyslexically mangling his name) has been a wonderful surprise; of course an ever-more-confident Jetta; and with vets like our spiritual heart Kirk and team-energising engine Goodes out there on the field too (oh! and ever-likeable Duckbutt O'Keefe!), I'm hard-pressed to choose.

I guess I'd have to say K. Jack - in so many ways, he's shaping up to be the future heart and anchor of the team, and seems to confound opponents regularly. If he's firing on all pistons, I think the whole team will rise to that extra level we need in Finals to win.

As much as I think Kieran or Goodsy I hope it's Ted (Super Ted) complete with Reg, shuts down our oppositions forward line and keeps our back line organised!

                      I hope it's Goodsey.

He is as damaging as anybody in the game and if he's on song, we can seriously go very very deep.

If not those two then I would love to see Kirky have a blinder, kicking goals and basically running (and tackling) his opponents into the ground.
It will be the last game that he plays in Sydney so I hope he has a great one

I'm hoping Goodsey. When he really turns it on he can have a huge influence on the final result.

If it is Goodsey ,then we will be in a for more than one or two Finals! I think it will be Keiren Jack who by the end of our finals campaign will be the talk of the AFL..potential superstar! If they both crack it and TDL or White both can kick some scores for us .we will have a real crack!
