Goodes because it will deliver so much, but I'd love to see Jetta break out and have a few multiple goal games!
Who will be your swans finals star?

Firstly, isn't it great to read this thread and look at the range of potential match winners that are mentioned. Even with the injuries we have our strength across the 22 and lack of weaknesses has looked heaps better over the last month and a solid effort from all should get us across the line against Carlton
I think Keiren Jack can continue his run of form and be a dominant player in the finals.
The one I'd really like to see is Jessse White, in the many threads that have discussed his worth I have often been on the side of persisting even though at times his form may not have warranted it. I think he has the talent it would be great for him to dominate and have a breakout game/ finals series, but unfortunately I am getting to the stage where it is more hopeful than optimistic.
At the other end of things, and it has been mentioned in plenty of other places, the effort of the depth/fringe players has been great over the past month, IMO keeping this going may be more pivotal in the success of our final series than any one player imposing themselves.Comment

Paul Roos. Will deliver a series of cunning match-ups that will mess up all comers.
Reg will hammer the hopes and dreams of the forwards and then lay the death blow with a couple of forward forays that break the hearts and spirit of our opponents.Comment

Goodesy ... in the midfield.
(Where he bloody-well belongs. Who do I have to come and talk with to make sure this happens?)Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

I hope McVeigh has a big finals series. I haven't done the statistical analysis to prove it, but my gut feel is that he is a good barometer of how the side as a whole is going. We've consistently been soundly beaten in games where Goodsey has had a blinder. Hanners, Jack, McGlynn all played well when we were getting pumped a month back. But the more effective team performances of the last month have coincided with a return to form from McVeigh.Comment
