I think most consider it pretty obvious that he was certainly referring to Veszpremi and quite possibly also to Johnston. But that isn't incompatible with the club also highly rating their talents. Seems to me he is trying to give them some encouragement to go with the verbal stick he's been bashing them with for the last month or so.

Interesting. Had he not said that, I may have thought they could have been delisted or put up as trade bait.
When you throw Meredith, Currie, Bird and Thornton into the mix - there are a number of guys who just won't get the opportunities they feel they deserve.
