Warm and sunny here in Epping this morning, but still strong, blustery winds. Don't know what the breeze is like over at ANZ but if it's anything like here, goal-kicking could be challenging. Hope it dies down a bit.

All kicking will be difficult. Certainly hope the wind dies down.

Bom is predicting it'll stay until early evening when it will die down to 20km/hr winds.

Ground should be in good condition, but like already mentioned, going to be a struggle kicking...just have to use every opportunity and play some smart footy. Nerves kicking in now!

I sent a text to DoctorJ about 8am this morning warning him to eat and drink sensibly before he got his flight up this morning. It will be one hell of a bumpy ride into Sydney.

Same advice goes to all our friends flying up this morning (though I guess they would have started the trip already).

The wind will be across the ground and shouldn't favour either end. Western side grandstand will shield it to some extent but a high ball will certainly drift. For those out of Sydney it has been very blustery all night and this morning. It's not cold and temperatures up about 4 degrees above normal.

wind is definitely stronger near the coast, still going to be pretty swirly in the stadium though.

I live 15 minutes from the stadium and the wind is extremely strong here. Not good footy weather, for players or viewers.

At least one positive with ANZ is the ability to keep most of the wind out. There will certianly be some swirling within the ground but nowhere to the extent or strength of the breeze external to the ground.
