Yawn Toothfairy, whatever! Virtually the same crowd as the Freo/Hawks match yesterday, and virtually the same crowd as the last time we played a finals match (semi final against doggies at MCG back in 2008).
I take it Dockers and Western Bulldogs crowds have a lot to learn too you fool.up the gutsComment

Oh dear! I thought the crowd noise was pretty good. Could have been louder at some of the strange umpiring decisions, but they went both ways. After the loss of focus in Q3 I thought the crowd was a significant factor in Q4.He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. great game. Everyone at the ground turned up to watch and anyone cristising from a tv must have had something better on?? It annoys me that some people want to find negatives in something so insignificant. Go the Bloods!!follow me on twitterComment

What a bizarre thing to say. Goodes personally thanked the crowd after the game for helping to get the team over the line. When O'Keefe got us back in front, the roar was deafening.
So glad I booked flights and accomodation for next week! Gotta love these guys!Comment

I yelled my little voice box dead. I hope I don't have to answer the phone tomorroz at work!!
I tried on a few occasions in the third to get the crowd chanting, but the chardies and the old people around us wouldn't have a bar of it.
The crowd around me sucked.
Although I did thoroughly enjoy running up and down the aisle stairs like a madwoman when we kicked the final two goals.
i wish that was on vid!!Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

I'm a serial ANZ hater as most would know but I was utterly impressed by the crowd noise and support especially when the game was on the line...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Ratten also mentioned it in his press conference so our make believe friend clearly doesn't have a clue...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Footy is such a personal, subjective and visceral experience. You could be having a totally awesome experience in one bay and be one section over and have a shocker.
I have to say that the eastern side lower sections had a wonderful day. Q3 was tough - the blues took the wind out of our sails on and off the field but we cheered our way back into it for the final qtr. You could see how much the boys appreciated the efforts when they went around post game. Very proud that the boys stood up. Very proud to be a red and white person.Comment
