Group behind me, mainly an older lady, took offense when I committed the heinous crime of calling an Umpire a wanker. I should of been taken away in cuffs and banned for life for that. Mate of mine suggested to them just wait till it's close because you've seen nothing yet. Ironically one of the main whingers was swearing under his breath in that tense final qtr so you know what they say about people in glass houses. Still at the end of the match we shook hands so no harm done.

45 - 50 and we met at the bar at aisle 119. Great people ORB, Wardy,Scotth,BBB,Yuri,DoctorJ, and Annie were all there. It was great fun.

I had a bloke in front of me ask me to keep quiet too. What on earth do they think this was?! I had my son with me and was keeping everything very clean. Unbelievable.

I'm not a fan of ANZ, but the crowd support was pretty good. However, the PA system was pretty poor...couldn't make out much of what was said.

Agreed. He asked me if he was going to have to listen to me all game so I said "No, you can move to another seat if you want."

I thought this was going to be a McBurney bashing...sigh.

It was the best ANZ crowd I've been to since NM in 08. The only lowlight was the umpiring which coincided with a bemused third qtr crowd :S

Ha ha. I'll excuse my typo for being slightly drunk last night after celebrating the boys victory with a great crowd of Swans supporters at the game. Some of your issues are a bit more concerning

I was smack in the middle of 114, plenty of noise and shouts of support to players from us.

I also hate ANZ and sat in terrible seats in 411 - how they have the nerve to charge premium prices for those seats is appalling. BUT the noise our section made was sensational. We had three guys sitting behind us who had the loudest voices I've ever heard and they got the chant going several times. Absolutely loved the noise the crowd generated.

I wouldn't go along with that. It took a long time for the crowd to get going, but the atmosphere in the last quarter was something special. Often seems to be the case.

A lot of the Swans crowds tend to be impact players rather than four-quarter contributors. But there was nothing wrong with their last quarter performance yesterday.

Who are "you people" and specifically what is it we (assuming I'm a "you people") have to learn? "How to sit at home and whinge from the couch" isn't high on my study list. "How to leave the house, get to Bay 108 and scream my lungs out for the magnificent Sydney Swans along with 40,000 or so of my fellow supporters" I have already mastered. I am hoping to get to suffering fools at some point, but not there yet.
