LOVE having so much confidence in a goal kicker. Wonderful addition to our team and to effectively win a final thanks to a great tackle and kick in your first year is AMAZING

With the wind blowing the way it was, that was THE toughest pocket to kick from all day too.
Today's a draft of your epitaph

how accurate is this kids kick?
LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.

TDL doesn't have the magic of Micky, but if Micky had TDL's consistent accuracy, we'd have won the '05 GF in the 3rd Q. He is an outstanding example of recruitment, the cherry on top of a great recruiting season.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

TDL's tackle in the 4th quarter would not look out of place next Saturday night at ANZ during the rugby.

Think Pyke has been rubbing off on a few players.

Awesome performance by TDL especially that tackle / final goal.

Trent has a beautiful kicking style, he knows how to find space, he plays above his height. A natural forward, perhaps the next great small forward in the AFL.

I was amazed by that tackle. I thought the blues were away. I couldn't see TDL until they were on the ground.

A very smart, as well as skilled player.

Awesome game. He needs to teach positioning to White. He is a natural. His kicking is superb although I think he would struggle beyond 40 but doesnt matter when you can find space so well inside the 50. And he must be pretty quick becaue he ran down armfield who a short time later was burning off jetta down the wing.

He's been soooo important for us these last few weeks, and given that we can hardly rely on Bevan and Shaw to kick goals each week, will continue to be critical. The icy cool conversion after the tackle was superb.

And I love how far Sydney fans have come with their knowledge of the rules - that "ball" scream was one of the loudest I've ever heard! Nice work guys!

I read in one of the papers today that tackling and getting paid the free was one of his goals for this week - tick that off.

Magnificent watching the replay on youtube. Happened just below where we were sitting: brought the house down. At the time I thought a point would be enough to seal the game. How wrong I would have been. We needed the goal!!!
