I agree that the crowd at the ANZ was so predominantly red (and white) that it was a real surprise when the Carlton voices were heard in the 3rd quarter.

Has Robert Walls finally smoked the piece pipe with Roos? I saw Walls briefly interview Roos about 2 weeks ago (Roos' last SCG match I think...) and nearly choked on my Doritos as I hadn't seen that for about 5 years.

I made this comment a few weeks back. I think they have. And Wallsy is now making up for lost time! He couldn't be more positive about the Swans if he tried.

Every home game looks great with the sea of red and white. It just seems the done thing that you wear red to a Swans home game irrespective of whether you are a die hard Bloods fan or a casual supporter.

Geez, that is sad. Good to see them on good terms again. 5 years is a long time.

Yep, that's what happened. Roosy contacted Wallsy

Not one of the candidates that would come to mind were I to choose to see such an act.

Re: the caps, yeah, I much much much prefer them when red's the dominant colour. Red blazes out great in the stands (and on mass transit, etc). Too much white and I feel more like a wanna-be golfer.
Yuri -you are the winner when it comes to wearing red and white gear - the ensemble you had on was fantastic - its great to see you have embraced our mob so much!!! the face paint, the badged hat and the belt buckle - yep you are hooked!!!

There was an old gal a year or so back who had her complete outfit made out of about 30 swans scarves strategically sewn together - trousers, jacket, skirt & hat - it was bizarre, but her dedication could not be doubted.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Thanks Wardy! And how cool to meet you (and the others!) in real life. I think I'll be a bit more sartorially tame if I head to the Alexandria this Saturday ... such outfits are reserved for the hallowed grounds of the sports arena.

Though I now have the odd urge to buy 30+ Swans scarves now and make an attempt at tailoring ....

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
