    Andrejs Everitt

Looks certain to take he's chances elsewhere next season after given limited game time by the Dogs. We did take a look at him last year during trade period but nothing progressed. I'd say the club will definitely take a good look at him.

    Vespremi for Everitt?

Why? As a player I imagine he'd be a handy addition.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Isn't he a tall/ruckman? That's what I was basing my comment on. If not then please disregard my previous post.

I know he's a tall but isn't he more of a flanker than KPP?

He is he is, but you can never have enough!

From what I've seen I think that's fair, he plays most successfully as a second/third skinny tall front and back. I was thinking long term as an LRT replacement.

He's a tweener without a set position who can't crack it for a regular game after 4 years at a team that is crying out for key position players

He's more a tall KKP player but does have good pace. Definitely worth a look at IMO

Yes, because Eade is reknowned for being fair at the selection table. Eade has been playing favourites at the Doggies for a long time. Whenever Everitt gets a sniff at senior level, he does fine, but is replaced as soon as possible.

He has also filled out to a genuine KP size. Might be a decent addition in defence.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Most 'Dogs fans I know, think he's been treated pretty unfairly.

Just looked him up and he's listed as 192 cm, Swans key defenders are listed as CBolt=190, LRT=196, Ted=192, Grundy=192.

So if I was thinking of him as LRT insurance he's probably an inch and a half short but does have rather long arms (which LRT does as well). If it was a serious proposition I think I'd make a deal for him if the offer was good, I think his footy smarts are pretty good and his skills are solid. The only concern I'd have is if he was looking to move for definite seniors game time- I think he'd get games in the seniors, but would probably compete with Ted (and probably Reid) for depth versatile big/fourth man picked behind CBolt/LRT/Grundy for at least next year- which would be good for us but possibly not what he's looking for.

Agree with the above. Whose place would he be going to take if he is to get a game? We have Bolton, LRT, Grundy, Richards, Reid, Heath plus the runners and blockers. There is already going to be plenty of heartache next year when all those who are injured at the moment reclaim their places in the team. Up to 6 current team members are going to lose their places. Their only hope is player injuries. I keep wondering how Rohan and Reid are going to get significant game time next year with the players we already have.

We should trade Ed Barlow for him.
