Thanks Liz and ugg. Looking at that count I'd say Kennedy or Goodes would be the only two who could take down Mummy from here. But they'd have to top every round to do so. Unless they give Reg votes, even though his last few rounds weren't crash hot.

I still think Jack is a very good chance, also keep in mind that Mumford missed a game (R22)Last edited by ugg; 1 October 2010, 10:39 PM.Comment

Winner's template has been put up on the AFL website. Definitely a case of what might have been for Mummy.
Congrats to Kieran!!
Kennedy wins Best Final Series. Seriously loving all the winners this year (only one I might have switched was Teddy for Benny).Last edited by gossipcom; 1 October 2010, 11:13 PM.Comment

Looking at that top 10, so much of it is youth. The future is bright and we have a lot to be excited about. Jack's speech was great, if he is a future leader, our club is in great hands.Comment

Looked a great night !
We await the reports of what was happenning at the tables from those present on the night.
Worthy winner, great top 10, excellent year to build on.

Can go down further. None of the top 5 is old, and with Eski and Hanners also in the top 10, the future is promising indeed.
Congratulations to Jack, and also to Mumford who was surely only robbed of the award by those late season injuries (not to mention a bogus suspension).Comment

Scary thing about the top 5 are their ages. Jack 23, Mumford 24, Kennedy 22, McVeigh 25, Grundy 24. Definitely Generation Next.Comment

It also shows up the fallacy of needing heaps of top draft picks to build a successful club. Three of those guys started out on a rookie list, and of the whole top 10, only one was a junior star. (Not too sure about Kennedy's standing in his junior career, given he was a FS pick.)Comment
