I reckon he was expected to be brilliant because of his blood lines; Great Expectations. He was also one of the subjects in that documentary on draft picks a few years back. No pressure mind; none at all......staggers me he was so little regarded at Hawthorne. Perhaps they expected him to arrive fully developed because he was third generation? Maybe its his personality, which is genial, pleasant and inately happy. Gosh I like this young man as a person, and I highly respect him as a player. We are going to enjoy his company, that's for sure.

After Dennis Carroll presented his award and was leaving the stage there was a comment of all the best Dennis with the challenge you have ahead.
Is he sick? or moving on.

They mentioned a health battle, hopefully not too serious or threatening.

FWIW, enjoyed Friday night, I had to leave at midnight due to going to the Replay the next morning! Speeches went on way too long IMO, but generally due to the tributes which is OK. Colless ensured we understood where his speech was going when he said he had a dream that he was Rob Oakeshott and his speech didn't finish to 11.30pm haha

K.Jack's fantastic roast of his father during his speech and tying it in with his mother's impressive sporting history won him a fair few fans I thought also!

Ever so slightly off topic(!) but if you scroll through all those pictures, and then keep scrolling through the next lot (a Swans training session) and then keep on a-scrolling, you get to pictures of the Elmination Final against the Blues. Numbers 12 and 13 in that set wonderfully capture Jack slamming Judd in that tackle.

Great photos. Thanks Ugg. I lost the stream on Friday night just before the medal winner was announced and didn't get it back until after Kieran had already made his speech, so it is especially good to see the photos of him.

Ugg!! Darling!!! Cracker photos. Does Kiz ever take a bad one? He looks gorgeous in each and every one of them.! Are you the secret photographer, or are you just the most alert one on the block to notice they are available?

Oh, and I was at that training session!

Spot on liz; you have to track the pictures backwards, but ugg the photography of that particualr tackle is spectacular......!!!!

Would have been a nice pic of me behind the Jacks in Pic 20 if not for my mates head in the way.
