    Amen.
As much as I can't stand Wankermanis, you're right.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

There's room to be honest and forthright between speaking in cliches and platitudes before you get to being rude and obnoxious. He just likes being extreme. That's his right, but doesn't mean he shouldn't get crap for it.

It was fun and refreshing for a while to have such an honest assessment of things, but he now seems full of malice and spite (even before he was sacked)
I think I lean towards the Brad Johnson side of this, and I think Brad is pretty much a tool himself....
The reason Aker continued to walk a fine line in 2010 is because he was told he had a clean slate. If you give a man a clean slate on speaking his mind, then he is going to speak his mind. Why the @@@@ would you give him a clean slate and then knife him when he speaks his mind.

Jason Akermanis calls for David Smorgon's head after comments from Justin Sherman | Herald Sun

I see Aker's expressing his Bulldogs point of view again. This time he has taken offence at the Dogs' apologising for Sherman's graceless comments as he departed the Lions. Guess neither he nor Sherman understands that some things are best left unsaid, regardless of how one feels.

On a side note, I do think it is interesting that Sherman's comments that raised an eyebrow in some quarters included an observation that he would become a better player surrounded by a better team - almost identical to comments made by Hall a year ago. Sounds to me like this has been a feature of the Dogs' recruiting pitch to players.

The losing prelim record probably isn't brought up, though.

Sounds like you could be right liz.
Tell them what they want to hear.

A friend is reading Akers book, told me not to bother, it's just one big whinge.
But he'd promised to let me know how it ends!!!
