    GF tickets

I have mentioned before that the missus is a Pies fan. It's obviously a cross I carry every day. Nevertheless she's not a bad bird and I guess if she's ever going to see a Pies flag this year is it.

If perchance any of u good folk are able to get hold of a tkt to the final and u feel kindly to a long term RWOer then pls PM me.

    Thx all!

The $1300 plus pacakages still available through afl.com.au. This year will be the hardest of all years to score a random ticket though I imagine.

        How is that not scalping?

Come with a West Coast Premiers 2005 T-shirt - It's a collectors package, not scalping.

I can see that this will be the last grand final replay. With the national competition, the CBA that mandates 8 weeks break for the players meaning St Kilda and Collingwood will be hugely disadvantaged as far as pre-season goes, list assessments leading into Trade Week being compromised, all the other commercial arrangements that exist around the last day in September, that there is just no way any one with sense in their head could let this be a possibility ever again.

                  I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

From a Melbournians perspective: I can't wait for the replay and the place is already jumpin' in anticipation. Are the Saints on a roll, are the Pies now having self doubts. The speculation will go on all week and more real fans of both sides will get a chance to go.

Why would you change tradition when it has happened 3 times in the history of the game and there has, believe it or not, only been 104 drawn games. It won't change while Demetriou is in charge and those who think it is all about dollars should remember what he said today. "The AFL is a not for profit organisation and all profits are put back into the game in many ways".

Come on Mike, as if the 2 sides are worried about a week short in pre season when they are in the battle for the Holy Grail. They will have done their list assessments by now, surely. Demetriou said that trade week will not be compromised. The clubs already have a good idea of trades and besides a lot of trading happens out of the blue in the trade week. As far as sense in their head: the forefathers of the game saw no reason to change and as far as I am concerned the current administration do a great job.
