That's quite a write up, looks like Heeney is definitely top ten at this stage. If we get him for a late teens pick there will be some foaming at the mouth in some opposition quarters :-)

If Roos kid does make it, as a F/S selection...Wouldn't that be to the Lions, not the Swans?
Yeah, when he was part of the Academy he'd have qualified for us through that, but now the Roos family are in Melbourne he's no longer part of it.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Watched him play in the sydney junior leagues, he is a good player but he doesn't have that X factor that players like Heeny and Mills have.
He may have improved in the last couple of years, time will tell.

The 20 players to watch at the NAB AFL U18 Champs - AFL.com.au

          Isaac Heeney
          Sydney Swans Academy/NSW-ACT
          5/5/96
          186cm/82kg
          Midfielder
Expect Heeney to dominate the division two championships for the Rams. Some recruiters rate the strong and athletic 17-year-old as the best midfielder in the draft. Heeney is a star at the stoppages, working his way through traffic, finding the ball and then getting it out. Heeney is already linked to the Swans as part of their zone Academy, meaning they have access to him in the same way as clubs do with father-sons.

Really important for us to have prospects like Heeney, Perris and Dunkley coming through as you would suspect that salary cap restrictions will see some of the current crop move on as free agents in the not-too-distant future.

Thanks to those keeping us posted on progress.

Rather than the club, I think it was Roos he was particularly pissed off with.

With Roos now gone, maybe a little schmoozing by the Swans, and things should be sweet between Dunks and the club.

Great to see Singleton boy Vahid Roser back. Had a horrid run with injuries over the last 18 months.

                              Callum Mills

Hopefully nobody else has done this yet and I don't want to go the early call and jinx the kid but I'd like to formerly claim Callum Mills as 'my boy'.
I know he's only a bottom ager and not eligible to be picked till the 2015 draft but he is a special talent.
Another Acadamy steal hopefully as Heeney is predicted to be in the upcoming draft.
Oh and he's on that Gatorade 'future stars' advertising campaign, which is pretty cool.

I watched mills against oakleigh a few weeks ago, he will be a good player no doubt, a step ahead of his team mates
