Lewis Jetta to run in the GF Sprint!

    Run Jetstar Run!

I'd say Stanley would be the one to beat.

Jetta doesn't weigh much, he could probably jump on big Dean Cox's back for the first 50m without him knowing, and then sprint off for the finish line with fresh legs. Either way he couldn't do much worse than Mike Pyke from last year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTSoy_sNaDA

I wonder if he had a race with Gary Rohan to see who would go?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Gaz has had a few injuries in his legs/feet so the Jet probably had it in the bag straight up. Plus he's great value marketing wise for the Club. The crowd will be gunning for him I reckon.

I think we all knew he was that fast before he did.

Jetstar is quickly turning into one of my favourite players. I like this line and the line about getting a tan during the offseason. He's a funny guy.

We might see Gary R next year. At sprint sessions he leaves Lewis and Rhyce Shaw for dead, according to one of the coaches. But on Saturday, go the Jetstar!

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

No hope- unless Gary R isn't selected for the big game! Hopefully all we will see is some Swans Rookie in the GF sprint next year.

+1. Rohan should be part of our best 22 by the business end of the season. With the Bulldogs a year older and Geelong possibly beginning their rebuild we might be one of the top 3 teams. And hopefully we'll be a bit too busy on GF day for the sprint.

I'm surprised there was no AFL player involved in the Australia?s Fastest Footballer promo at the Athletic Allstars event at Homebush last week. All the other football codes were represented. Jetstar would have given them a run for their money!

                          Go Lewis!

There was. And yes, I had never heard of them either......

It was sponsored by Gatorade - AFL is sponsored by Powerade and they pulled out of the event.
