Yes! This - but I a medal - love the suggestion of the dog with its head out the window. How about we keep the TLM as it is, but introduce the Brett Kirk Trophy as kind of like a Swans-specific, fan nominated and voted "Selfless/Tough Act of the Year" kind of thing. You could make a trophy out of rusty bent nails artfully hammered into a piece of sandalwood (would sum up Kirky perfectly IMO). Nomination each round, at the end of the year, everybody votes, winner gets the trophy.Superman still wears Brett Kirk PyjamasComment

This. Sorry Scotty, but am thinking the TLM needs to stay for the best and fairest ( the RWO version of the Brownlow) ... The Brett Kirk Trophy has a meaning all its own thenHow about we keep the TLM as it is, but introduce the Brett Kirk Trophy as kind of like a Swans-specific, fan nominated and voted "Selfless/Tough Act of the Year" kind of thing. Oh, and Luffy, I am sure he meant nothing by it ... We are just trying to recognise another club champion ...
Edit: Hmmmm, Paul Kelly? Warwick Capper? Adam Goodes? Paul Roos? We want to be careful that we leave room for banter ... soon all people will be doing on RWO is voting for a trophy, and that will take a half a day.Comment

I understand your "edit" Frog, about all the others. But Kirky is the only one that make you want to wag your tale, and bask in the sunshine of his approval. Those of us who have been fortunate to have a one on one will understand what I mean. He makes you feel good. I do like the idea of a Tough or One Percenter though.
The One Percenter used to be part of the B&F, but no more. Perhaps we could introduce that to the R&W award list of one Scott and give the "peoples' point of view.If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

I have enough trouble doing the TLM.
Unless it was just a poll at the end of the year??
LOL, now there is an idea!!!!
I was just testing the waters.This. Sorry Scotty, but am thinking the TLM needs to stay for the best and fairest ( the RWO version of the Brownlow) ... The Brett Kirk Trophy has a meaning all its own then

I know these were/are legends of the club, but Kirk is the soul od the club. Be good to have something to remember him by.
And not a memorial (AnnieH)
If it wasn't for me we wouldn't have a TLM at all, as the people who created it and drove it are no longer part of the RWO family.
If it wasn't for YOU, the voters, we wouldn't have a TLM result at all.
@ anniswan, great idea, too.
I will consider your suggestions from the comfort of my meditaion pillow.
I will focus now.Comment

I understand the "more work" part, but how about you just add a "4th vote" style thing on the TLM vote page, which is for the player which showed the most courage? If you work it into the already established TLM system, it wouldn't be much extra at all, would it?Another award means more work, more organising.
