Will take it with a grain of salt for the moment, but it will be a huge loss if he goes.

It's no coincedence that his departure coincided with us missing the finals in 2009, he is just so important to our structure and gamplan with his carry and run through the centre of the ground.

Shaw and Mattner are not capable of providing that same drive on a consistent basis, and while Malceski has the piercing kick, he does not have Tadgh's burst of speed to take on and evade the opposition

Meh-Until a formal anouncement is made I'll treat this the same way as Kieren Jack's planning on a future in NRL, a comment made in passing that a half-wit journo ran away with

Tadhg cannot shut up. He always wants to tell the interviewers whatever they want to hear. I wonder how much it annoys his teammates? Because it certainly annoys the rest of us. The interview he did on Irish TV last year saying how much more playing for Kerry meant to him than his time with the Swans was simply offensive. Maybe he could get away with it when he was a kid but no longer.

Has he still got the Aussie girlfriend? Has she said anything positive about Irish winters and making do on about $300,000 a year less?

Everytime they have the International Rules this seems to appear, i doubt he'll leave again after this year

I believe it was a one year deal, I could very well be wrong though. This very much explains why everitt has been recruited, I would be quite surprised if tadhg left though.

No. At home in Ireland he said what the Irish wanted to hear with not a thought for how it would sound to the Swans' supporters. His interview was up there with Jolly's in Melbourne on how the Swans can't compete with the real thing - Kerry/Collingwood/whatever. I finished watching both equally annoyed. I'd say Barry Hall has been more discrete, with much less reason to be so.

Barassi told us all at a Swans dinner that the Swans would always be part of him. That lasted till he landed in Melbourne. Plugger is St Kidla's. Kel manages a foot in both Swans and GWS camps but gets paid by them.

What next, Kirk doing promotions for GWS saying his heart always stayed with his first Albury team and the Swans was just a way to play AFL? Somehow I can't see that - and it really would break my heart if Kirk moved away from the Swans when the next offer came along.
