I think it is great that Ed is still clinging by a finger nail to an AFL career. I hope the Doggies put him on their rookie list. It looks like BBB must be one very persuasive guy! It is interesting that he woud put in a good word for Ed as well as Vez.

Ed Barlow didn't have footy smarts & tended to run strait at the ball & not caress his run & in doing so over ran the ball or missed the bounce of the ball. He seemed lazy on most of the occasions he played. Good luck to him at the Bullies I think we have drafted a better class of footballer than Barlow. I do feel for Vesper though as I thought him a talent with a lack of confidence & possibly a late maturer.Comment

Peter Faulks has been taken by Freo and there is a link here
Freo's Faulks keen to seize his second chance - AFL.com.au'
... he makes a pretty fierce self assessment of where he was at the Swans, and I can see that the honesty side of things is well instilled. Good on him, hope he does well.Last edited by Primmy; 24 November 2010, 09:59 AM.If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

I feel pleased for Faulks, and hope he does well, with the usual proviso. (Not against us)He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment
