So why didn't Otten get taken by anyone in the ND? Must have been some concerns as was the case with Grundy. Let's hope at worse he turns out like Grundy.

The last key defender we recruited and put into jumper #13, did quite well. perhaps if Andrejs Everitt could hold his head at a funny angle like that incumbent he could break the curse on #13?

For the under 40's . . .
#13's greatest incumbent was Rod "Rocket" Carter, perhaps the most niggardly Swans fullback of all time, and his goalkicking record was extraordinary.
And I wonder if the drafting of big defenders suggests that the loss of B2 and LRT last season didn't shake the coaching box up a little.
